Mare Management

Royal Vista Southwest accepts embryo donor mares to be bred with cooled or frozen semen as well as mares to be bred and carry their own foals. A fixed fee is charged per cycle which includes all palpations and ultrasound exams.

Several boarding choices are available. Wet mares have stalls under lights with turn out in grass paddocks. The mares and foals are led to their stalls in the evening and led to the paddocks in the morning. Dry mares have stalls under lights and are turned out in small groups during the day. We offer private care with turn out as requested. We can care for your show or race mare as necessary.

Royal Vista Southwest will provide seasonal care for your mare as well as year round care at reduced rates if requested.
